Timing Synchronization and Channel Estimation for DCO-OFDM in VLC Systems

This work develops timing-synchronization and channel-estimation techniques for DC-biased optical orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing (DCO-OFDM) waveforms in visible-light communication (VLC) systems. The proposed schemes address the specific impairments of optical intensity modulation while preserving the OFDM frame structure.
