Sparse Recovery Using an Iterative Variational Bayes Algorithm and Application to AoA Estimation
Published in 2016 IEEE International Symposium on Signal Processing and Information Technology (ISSPIT), 2016
This paper develops an iterative variational Bayes algorithm for sparse signal recovery and applies it to angle-of-arrival (AoA) estimation. The Bayesian formulation produces uncertainty quantification alongside point estimates, which is useful in operational settings where confidence bounds matter as much as the AoA values themselves.
