On the Effect of Random Snapshot Timing Jitter on the Covariance Matrix for JADE Estimation
Published in 2015 23rd European Signal Processing Conference (EUSIPCO), 2015
This paper analyzes how random snapshot timing jitter perturbs the sample covariance matrix used in joint angle and delay estimation (JADE). Closed-form expressions are derived for the perturbation, and the resulting accuracy loss in downstream JADE estimators is quantified, informing acquisition-system design choices.
