Parameter Estimation Techniques for Indoor Localisation via WiFi

This doctoral thesis develops parameter-estimation techniques for indoor localisation using WiFi signals. The dissertation covers time-of-arrival (ToA), angle-of-arrival (AoA), and joint angle-delay estimation, with particular attention to estimator behaviour under realistic impairments such as array mutual coupling, calibration uncertainty, and multipath. The work culminated in the doctoral degree (electrical engineering) awarded by EURECOM in 2017.
