On Mutual Coupling for ULAs: Estimating AoAs in the Presence of More Coupling Parameters

This paper extends angle-of-arrival (AoA) estimation for uniform linear arrays (ULAs) to settings with a richer mutual-coupling parameter set than the conventional Toeplitz model. The proposed estimator remains consistent when additional coupling parameters are present, addressing a practical limitation of standard AoA methods. This work was nominated for the Best Student Paper Award at ICASSP 2017.
