Low Dynamic Range for RIS-Aided Bistatic Integrated Sensing and Communication

Published in IEEE Journal on Selected Areas in Communications, 2025

This paper proposes a reconfigurable intelligent surface (RIS) aided bistatic integrated sensing and communication architecture explicitly engineered for low dynamic range at the receiver. By exploiting the RIS configuration, the design eases the hardware constraints typically imposed by the wide dynamic range of bistatic ISAC signals while preserving sensing and communication performance.
