Secure Full Duplex Integrated Sensing and Communications

Published in IEEE Transactions on Information Forensics and Security, 2024

This paper studies secure full-duplex integrated sensing and communications (ISAC) when the targets to be sensed are themselves malicious eavesdroppers. Secure beamforming and artificial noise (AN) generation strategies are co-designed to preserve communication secrecy while simultaneously enabling target detection — resolving the inherent dilemma between sensing and secrecy in this setting.
